A double rainbow arches across the stormy sky as the setting sun illuminates the stained glass windows of the Wai’oli Hui’ia Church in Hanalei Town on this rainy summer evening. Built in 1912, this beautiful and historical church is located alongside the main road in scenic Hanalei on Kauai’s north shore. Abe took this photo while heading to dinner in Hanalei one stormy evening. Fun fact….there is a school bus stop directly in front of the church, but with Abe’s eye for photography and background in graphic design he was able to remove the bus stop to give us a head on view of the Wai’oli Hui’ia church in all its glory.
