Four Palms in Hanalei The sky lights up in a spectacular afterglow at Blackpot Beach Park. This row of palm trees between the Hanalei Pier and the Hanalei River were planted for the filming of the movie “South Pacific”. Located in the middle of the photo, the mountain point Makana received its nickname “Bali Hai” from this movie.
