As a photographer, Abe Kowitz has enjoyed taking photos while adventuring outdoors since he was a kid. Always looking for the next adventure with camera in hand, these photos are from Abe’s exploration of the Hawaiian Islands.
With their nostalgic feel, Abe has put his photographs on Koa wood (amongst others) with a special transfer adhesive. Photos and wood pieces are selected with each other in mind adding a unique depth to these one of a kind pieces of art.
