Hanalei Church

A double rainbow arches across the stormy sky as the setting sun illuminates the stained glass windows of the Wai’oli Hui’ia Church in Hanalei town on this rainy summer evening. Built in 1912, this beautiful, historical church is located alongside the main road in scenic Hanalei on Kauai’s north shore. I had initially spotted this rainbow in Hanalei Valley overlooking the taro fields. As I drove into town to have dinner with a friend, I followed the expanse of the rainbow to the Wai’oli Hui’ia Church where I stopped for this picturesque capture.
